Guts! Priya Varrier stepped out for an event recently recreating a look that Deepika Padukone had been applauded for wearing at the Vogue Beauty Award sin 2012. While we're still trying to find out if this was her attempt at recreating a modish look or simply an honest mistake, the internet has taken this ball in their court.

While some are applauding her for her bold move to recreate a leading actress' #OOTD with such eye to detail, many are trolling her for the same.

The original look is from the time when Deepika walked the Vogue Beauty Awards 2012 red carpet wearing this beautiful Dolce and Gabbana number. DP wore a similar Monique Lhuillier ensemble for the Vanity Fair Party in 2017.

While Priya's look came very close to that of Deepika's, we have to say that the attempt doesn't even come close to giving the Padmavat actress' look a run for its money.
