Acclaimed director SS Rajamouli, who is basking in the global success of his last release RRR, made fans go in frenzy as he dropped a major hint about his next project. During a Q&A session at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Rajamouli briefly discussed his upcoming film, which will be headlined by Mahesh Babu. He called the film, “a globetrotting action-adventure film”. As per the buzz, the film will be shot across Africa and an official word from the makers is awaited.
This will be the first time that Rajamouli and Mahesh will be coming together for a film. The film is produced by KL Narayana. The director is currently at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) where he spoke about his upcoming film. The yet-to-be-titled film’s script is currently underway. The film is popularly called SSMB29.
Mahesh is currently busy with the shooting of Trivikram Srinivas's SSMB 28. After wrapping up the film, he will start prepping for Rajamouli's film. In a recent interaction, Mahesh Babu said, "It’s a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country."
On the work front, Mahesh was last seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata, while SS Rajamouli is basking in the success of his period drama, RRR that had an ensemble cast of Ram Charan, Jr.NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and others.
