The highly awaited trailer of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer Telugu film Bheemla Nayak was dropped online yesterday. The trailer shows the two powerhouse performers locking horns as they battle it out in an ultimate face-off between power and duty.
Bheemla Nayak is the official remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum that starred Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Biju played the character of Ayyappan Nair, a policeman while Prithviraj was seen as a retired Army havildar Koshy Kurian. In the Telugu remake, Pawan Kalyan plays the role of Biju Menon while Rana plays the role of Prithviraj. It’s the first time the two will be seen together on the silver screen.

Bheemla Nayak also stars Nithya Menen in a pivotal role. The film also stars Murali Sharma and Samyuktha Menon in key roles. Sagar K Chandra has directed the film with Trivikram Srinivas penning the dialogues. SS Thaman has composed the music. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under his production banner Sithara Entertainments has produced the film.
Bheemla Nayak will release in theatres on February 25.
