On the eve of Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers of his highly-anticipated film Pushpa treated his fans with a stylishly thrilling teaser. Unlike his earlier films where he is seen as a charming and romantic guy, Pushpa sees him in the fierce, rugged and dangerous avatar of Red Sandalwood smuggler Pushpa Raj.
The teaser also shows a glimpse of female lead Rashmika Mandanna. The teaser promises high-octane action sequences with Arjun acing the stunts.

Pushpa has been directed by Sukumar and marks the third collaboration between him and Arjun. Earlier they worked on Arya and Arya 2.
The film also stars Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. Other star cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil in significant roles. The film is slated to release in theatres on August 13.
