A new promo from Thalapathy Vijay’s much-anticipated film Master has been released and is making the fans go gaga. The promo has been released a week before the film’s release. In the video, Vijay is seen shaking legs for Vaathi Coming song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The particular song has become a huge hit on the internet with over 100 million views on YouTube. The promo also had the release date of the film.Within few minutes, hashtags like #100MViewsForVaathiComing and #Masterthefilm were trending on the internet. On December 28, 2020, director Lokesh Kanagaraj had taken to social media to reveal that Master will release worldwide in theatres on January 13. While the Tamil and Telugu versions will release on January 13, the Hindi version will hit the screens on January 14.
Mani Ratnam resumes shoot for Ponniyin Selvan
Mani Ratnam has resumed shoot for Ponniyin Selvan after almost nine months. The shoot of the project has resumed after a long gap in a specially erected set in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. As reported by a leading daily the entire cast and crew got tested for Covid-19 before joining the sets. It was after everybody tested negative, did the team go ahead with the plan of resuming shoot. Ponniyin Selvan stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Vikram Prabhu, Amitabh Bachchan, Mohan Babu, Aishwarya Lekshmi and others.
Vijay Sethupathi to team up with Vetrimaaran for his next directorial
Vijay Sethupathi and filmmaker Vetrimaaran are all set to join hands for the first time for the latter’s upcoming yet-untitled Tamil film starring Soori in the lead. As per media reports, Vijay has been signed to play a pivotal role in the film. The actor has also been reported to have completed a look test. He was supposed to star in Vada Chennai but Vijay opted out citing date issues, looks like now they will finally work together.

Rana Daggubati and Vishnu Vishal's much-anticipated film, Kaadan, is all set to hit the screens on March 26, 2021. The film directed by Prabhu Solomon was initially supposed to release on April 2, 2020 but the pandemic played spoil sport. Now, the makers of the film announced that the film will be a theatrical release and it will be out on March 26. Vishnu Vishal, one of the lead actors of the film, took to Twitter to reveal the news. He shared a poster and wrote, "#Kaadan #Aranya # March 26th release... Save the date for some great theatrical experience (sic)." Kaadan will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Apart from Rana Daggubati and Vishnu Vishal, the film also features Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgoankar and Raghu Babu in pivotal roles. Produced by Eros International, Kaadan (Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi and Aranya in Telugu) is touted to be an action-thriller set against a forest backdrop.
