Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan turned 49 today (September 2). Ever since the clock struck midnight, fans of the superstar have been sharing heartfelt birthday wishes. Making the occasion special for the younger brother of Chiranjeevi, the makers of Konidela Kalyan Babu aka Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Vakeel Saab shared a motion poster. For the unversed, Vakeel Saab is the Telugu version of the Hindi film Pink starring Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Amitabh Bachchan, Angad Bedi, Tushar Pandey, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee.
In the motion poster released, we can see Pawan holding a criminal book in one hand and a baseball bat in the other. Looking sharp as a lawyer, he gears up for an intense courtroom battle. Pawan will be stepping into Mr. Bachchan's shoes in Pink's Telugu remake.

Apart from Pawan, Vakeel Saab stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Prakash Raj. The courtroom drama marks the actor's comeback after a gap of two years. He had taken a break to start his political career. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film is produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. It was reportedly scheduled to release in theatres this May but got pushed ahead due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The new release date is yet to be issued.
