SS Rajamouli is one of the finest directors and visionary in the South cine industry and there is no denial. The filmmaker who has an eye for details and blockbusters, attained a pan-world recognition with his work and is racing ahead with interesting projects. Now, ever since he confirmed collaborating with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, the excitement has shot up high. While the untitled film is yet to go on floors, the buzz surrounding the storyline has been doing the rounds. According to reports, the big-budget feature film will be a spy-thriller.
As per the speculation, Rajamouli's directorial featuring Mahesh will be modeled on the lines of James Bond films and the actor will slip into the role of a spy, obviously. However, this plotline is yet to be made concrete and all the members close to the project are maintaining silence.
The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors once Rajamouli is done with Jr. NTR's and Ram Charan's period drama RRR. The film that also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in crucial roles is scheduled to open at theatres on January 8, 2021. However, the release date is still uncertain as major portions with Alia are yet to be shot and the filming is currently stalled due to Coronavirus. Mahesh's next is said to be with either Vamshi Paidipally or Parasuram. Post this, he will start working with Rajamouli. The rumoured spy thriller's title will be announced next year and will go on floors in 2022. It will be produced by KL Narayana.
