This boyfriend is furious!

“There is no way I will accept her. You can’t just go and have sex with people on National TV and then come back to say ‘I love you’. I believe that, 99% she will not even come back! And even if she does, I will not speak to her. Meeting her does not even figure on my list! I have my own image to take care of.” That was Dennis Nagpal lashing out at his girlfriend Bandgi’s antics with Puneesh Sharma in the bathroom and other assorted spots in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. No wonder he’s hurting!

Padmavati’s French Flashback

Amidst the ongoing heated controversy, we traced the century-long journey, to the time Padmavati was a 1923 opera by Roussel, full of pomp and spectacle. An opera in two acts, it was a retelling of the legend recounted in Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s poem, Padmavat (1540). First performed at the Paris Opéra on June 1, 1923, Roussel had styled the work as an opéra-ballet, with dance numbers and “opportunities for spectacle”. Bhansali’s operatic version in 2008 had featured local actors, the original score, and a tiger, a python and an elephant, as it premiered at the Theatre Du Chatelet in Paris in 2008. Incidentally, neither of these had stirred up even the slightest whisper of controversy then!

The mystery behind Mogul not listed in T-Series’ 2018 films…

Both T-Series and Akshay Kumar stayed mum on the status of Mogul, the biopic that was to be made on the production house’s founder Gulshan Kumar. The film wasn’t announced as one of T-Series’ big ticket releases of 2018, despite it rumoured to go on the floors in the first quarter of 2018. Buzz in the industry is that Akshay backed out due to reservations about the film’s script. Others claimed Akshay has his hands full in 2018 with PadMan, 2.0, Gold and Kesari. Result: The fate of Mogul remains as mysterious as the death of the Bollywood mogul in 1997 on whom it was being made.
