Shah Rukh is a doting dad to his three children, but when it comes to his youngest, his weakness is very obvious. AbRam brings out his most protective side, as daddy declares, “He is not meant for flashbulbs. I don’t want him to be a participant in this circus of public life that I am a part of.”
Yet he cannot seem to tear himself away from his tot, born to him and Gauri via surrogacy. He will tote the adorable moppet along on his shoots whenever he can and cosy up to him between rehearsals and takes; even Gauri grumbled happily about how AbRam was spoilt rotten by his smitten dad, something neither of their older children were. The angelic, happy child that AbRam is, there really is no blaming his love-struck daddy!
Taimur Ali Khan
While she was expecting him, Kareena had made airy declarations about how she could never see herself not working etc. etc. Then Taimur came along and changed his mother’s world beyond recognition. Kareena has had her little sonshine for company practically all through the filming of Veere Di Wedding. And she also has a long break planned exclusively for Taimur, during which she will not even look at film scripts.
Smitten and how, not a day goes by without Mommy gushing about how she is “going to be showing and teaching him new things,” or then raving, “Taimur is the most gorgeous baby on this side of the equator,” and giggling, “The only thing Taimur doesn’t like about me is that I kiss him about 20,000 times a day.” We rest our case!
Azad Rao Khan
A roomful of journalists waited for Aamir in his office, as the actor was delayed by “something important” – bath-time with his little boy! Azad has his daddy pretty much wrapped around his finger. Most evenings, he is home latest by 7 pm so that he sits with Azad as the tot has his dinner, and then he and Kiran take turns alternately reading to him every night.
Just recently, the happy duo was spotted enjoying some we-time, just the two of them, at a neighbourhood restaurant. Whether Chicago for Dhoom:3, Rajasthan for the PK shoot, or even a mock-match on the mat as he practiced his wrestling moves for Dangal, Aamir is never far from the adorable Azad, at work or play. We noticed the hint of pride when Aamir recently revealed that his 5-year-old cries when he watches his father’s films (Aamir is notorious for weeping during films too!), and he holds very dear the T-shirt sporting a design that had been painted by his youngest child.
