It’s pouring outside and the city is all inside closed doors. But that is no reason for Deepika Padukone to stay back. The diva made her way to her hometown, Bangalore, today and paps were waiting to welcome her at the Mumbai Airport. Look at her as she just can’t contain her excitement to go back home.

Deepika is probably the one of the few who has discovered and accepted that it is not just Bombay rains that are all beautiful. Bangalore qualifies for that, too. She was at the airport today – rocking her airport swag – a black and white outfit! This time she went for a more casual look, a white vest, black joggers and Nike sneakers.

After the success of her Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial magnum opus Padmaavat, Deepika has been occupied with multiple events and endorsements. Her next film, an untitled Vishal Bhardwaj directorial has been kept on the shelves as her co-star Irrfan has been dealing with severe health issues. We hope it isn't a long wait until her next flick!
