Their first film, Mirzya may have tanked at the Box Office but the friendship between the two stars remains quite strong. Harshvardhan Kapoor recently held a screening of his upcoming superhero flick, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero and present at the screening were his very first co-star and director, Saiyami Kher and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, respectively.
Also in attendance was director Vikramaditya Motwane.
Recently, Saiyami spoke up about Harshvardhan to a leading daily and she had only good things to say about her Mirzya co-star. She said, “I’m happy for Harsh, and for the kind of films he will be next seen in. He’s a dear friend and we recently met at an awards show. He has been lucky that good scripts are coming his way. He is doing Bhavesh Joshi, which will be directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, and both Harsh and I are a fan of his work."
Harshvardhan Kapoor’s second film Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is all set hit the screens this weekend and will clash with elder sister, Sonam Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding. Although the rescheduling of release dates perplexed many trade pundits, it also made sense in a way that the target audiences for both the films are different which would not have been the case if the original date was adhered to.
