Earlier today the Kapoor family, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput with their daughter Misha Kapoor and Pankaj Kapoor, flew back to the city. The family had apparently visited Amritsar to attend Satsang session there, on the occasion of his birthday on February 25. For the same reason, Shahid even decided to miss the success bash for Padmaavat, that was supposed to happen.

There were speculations that the actor made his plans accordingly, to miss the bash. The party was arranged by Viacom 18 on a yacht in Mumbai. But just a day before, the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali called it off stating his issues with seasickness.

The family was papped coming out of the airport today.
