Renowned singer Krishnakumar Kunnath passed away in Kolkata on Tuesday night shortly after performing live at a concert. His mortal remains were brought to Mumbai last evening. The singer is survived by his wife Jyoti, son Nakul and daughter Taamara. 

KK's son Nakul led the funeral procession from their residence in Mumbai to Versova crematorium.

He was with other members of his family and friends of the singer. 

A van decorated with flowers was ready for KK's funeral.

A picture of the singer was placed inside the crematorium where his funeral will take place.

Before the funeral, several celebrities from the music industry paid a visit to KK's residence to offer their condolences to the bereaved family.
