The 36th edition of the Prithvi Theatre Festival kickstarted yesterday on November 1 and will go on till November 11. The festival will witness renowned plays, musical performances and literary encounters, all under one roof. Interestingly, the festival will comprise more than 60 shows and performances at Prithvi Theatre, Royal Opera House and G5A.

On Friday during the opening night of the festival, several B-town celebs marked their presence. Seen at the venue were Vishal Bharadwaj, Anup Soni, Shabani Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sharmila Tagore, Aahana Kumra, Randeep Hooda, Divya Dutta, Jim Sarbh, Kirti Kulhari, and Punjabi singer Gurdaas Mann.
