Taking over Indian's 71st Independence day with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold. The film is making all the buzz and for the right reasons. Along with Akshay, the film features Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal in the pivotal roles. It is directed by Reema Kagti of Talash fame and is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment.
Recently, Akshay and Mouni were in the capital city promoting their upcoming film together in a special event. Joining them were the director Reema and producer Ritesh. The film traces the story of India's 12-year struggle in bringing in first Gold medal home as an independent nation through Tapan Das' vision played by Akshay.
For the event, Akshay dressed up in a dapper black suit and tie with a crisp white shirt. His leading lady Mouni opted for hot red power suit with sleek hair tied in a ponytail.
