‘The Doorman’ trailer: Ruby Rose kicks ass as she defends a New York home from robbers

"You should walk away now and if you don't? I will take you to hell”, says Ruby Rose in the new trailer of her upcoming film The Doorman, set in New York City. The film is directed by Japanese filmmaker Ryûhei Kitamura and sees the young actress kicking butts in high-octane action sequences. Playing an ex-Marine who experienced a lot of trauma in her last job, Rose returns to New York to heal herself and start a new chapter of her life, where she's offered a job as a doorman.

However, things hardly go as we have planned and just like Bruce Willis in Die Hard, she finds being herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up witnessing a robbery taking place at the expensive family home of the people she has befriended in NYC. Rose returns to the roots of her training to try to outsmart a lot of very dangerous people and take their gang down single-handedly.
