All of 80, Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is a household name. Morgan, star of Driving Miss Daisy, Shawshank Redemption, Million Dollar Baby and Now You See Me amongst others, in a shocking investigation by a leading Hollywood news portal, has been accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour by multiple women.

Sixteen women spoke to the news portal, eight of which were victims of what they term as 'sexual harassment' while others were subjected to inappropriate behaviour by the veteran.

A young production assistant, who worked with Freeman on his 2015 bank heist comedy Going In Style co-starring Michael Caine and Alan Arkin, alleged she was a victim of several months of harassment through the hands of the actor. In her conversation with the portal, she claimed that Freeman repeatedly 'touched her without permission, resting his hand on her lower back or rubbing her lower back, and frequently made comments about her figure and clothing.'

In one incident, the girl claimed, Morgan "kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear," but he was never successful. "Alan (Arkin) made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say."

Morgan's apparent inappropriate behaviour wasn't just limited to the sets of one film. A member of the production staff of 2012 release Now You See Me, shared with the news portal, Freeman "did comment on our bodies... We knew that if he was coming by ... not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that (were) fitted."
