Balenciaga is famous for its unique designs and for establishing trends in the fashion industry, and they are good at stirring up online discussion. During Paris Fashion Week, the Spanish luxury label unveiled handbags that resemble potato chip bags.
The high-end brand teamed with Lays to create a display of handbags that looked just like a normal Lays chips packet as part of its Summer 2023 collection. The new Balenciaga X Lays handbag collection was carried by models as they walked down the runway wearing baggy clothes.

Demna Gvasalia, the creative director of Balenciaga, posted images of the bag with a Lay's concept. The bags have a zipper on top and are made of fabric that can be folded.
Balenciaga, after launching earrings that look exactly like shoelaces for $261 and a trash bag worth $1790, they are back again with another outlandish trend that raised eyebrows.
