Priya Tanna steps down as Editor-In-Chief of Vogue India after 15 years; Vogue Taiwan's Leslie Sun continues operations in the Asia-Pacific region

Vogue India’s Editor-in-chief Priya Tanna is set to exit the fashion magazine after 15 years of operation and can we say we are heartbroken? She joined a list of other international Vogue editors who have exited over the last six months. This decision comes after the company decided to streamline its operations globally and centralizing it into more New York-based operations.

Vogue editorial teams in the Asia-Pacific region (not including Russia and China) were based under Vogue Taiwan editor Leslie Sun, who further reports to Anna Wintour, Vogue’s former editorial director, promoted to chief content officer in December.

This comes as a major shock as Vogue India succeeded and became a household name due to Priya Tanna’s efforts. But with the recent power and operations change in parent media house Condé Nast, we may have more editorial heads from various other companies to exit their positions. India’s Architectural Digest editor Greg Foster is also exiting the title.
