COVID-19: Haute Couture Week stands canceled; Milan Men's Fashion Week to be merged with Women's in September

The global COVID 19 outbreak has disrupted the fashion calendar in serious measure! After postponing MET Gala and Cannes Film Festival, the fashion weeks are next in line to face the repercussions of this global pandemic. 

While the Haute Couture Week stands canceled in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak, Milan Men's Fashion Week will be merged with the Women's leg in September for the first time ever! Read on:

“In light of the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic worldwide, strong decisions are required to ensure the safety and health of houses, their employees, and everyone working in our industry,” wrote the Fédération in a statement.

Many of the haute couture brands have delayed their launches and showcases due to the on-going pandemic. Health and safety before anything, isn't that right? 

Similarly, London Fashion Week also stands canceled, while New York Fashion Week is looking for a way to digitalize.
