Did you know Manushi Chhillar's Miss World gown was made in only 2 days?

As we all gear up for yet another exciting Miss World competition, last year's winner Manushi Chhillar took a trip down memory lane and relived her pageant days. The beauty Queen who will soon be crowning the next Miss World shared an emotional letter on Instagram with a throwback picture from her life-changing moment of the 2017 win. She thanked all the mentors and shared an interesting detail about her Miss World gown.

In her post, Manushi revealed that the gown she wore at the finale was made in just two days. Thanking designers Falguni and Shane Peacock, she mentioned how they made it after learning that pink is her dream colour.

In another post, Manushi thanked her co-competitors and the pageant for giving her a memorable journey. She wrote, "Because strong women support each other. This year 120 girls from all over the world will come together to experience the best adventure of their lives! Miss world has given me friends for more than a lifetime and to all you lovely ladies, thank you for making my journey a memorable one! And hence we begin #MissWorld 2018."
