Mallika Sherawat is all kinds of chic in Wendell Rodricks creation at Cannes

Joining the brigade of B-Town beauties at the Cannes Film Festival this year, Mallika Sherawat made a stunning appearance at red carpet appearance last night as she rocked a lilac gown by Tony Ward looking straight out of a fairytale.
For her second look of the day, Mallika strutted the streets of the French Riviera in a fuchsia Wendell Rodricks creation. She paired her look with a Valentino Rockstud Leather Pumps and aviators.

The actor who has collaborated with ‘Free A Girl India’, an NGO fighting against human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children in India has taken it upon herself to reach out globally by taking her mission all the way to Cannes. In the past, many renowned actresses like Julia Roberts and Salma Hayek have used the influential forum to drive a strong point.

She recently had expressed her displeasure over increasing number of rape cases in India. The actress said, "I think what's happening with women and children of this country is absolutely shameful. From the land of Gandhi, we have become a land of gang rapists and I think it's the media in the country that is really a strong force today. So all hopes are pinned on the media."
