‘Boss babe’ Alia Bhatt to ever-green Janhvi Kapoor: One night, two events and some BEST looks from the gala!

It was indeed a star-studded night in Mumbai yesterday as our B-town celebrities set out to attend not one but two red-carpet galas, dressed to the nines. Both, Elle India and GQ India hosted a glitz and glam soiree which saw the crème-de-la-crème of showbiz all geared up with their best fashion foot forward.

While GQ welcomed the ‘Most Influential Young Indians’ on the red carpet, Elle’s soiree was all about ‘Sustainability.’ Check out the best looks from the night that witnessed two spectacular events.

ALIA BHATT

Hands down, Alia’s fiery Boss Babe avatar in a sharp-tailored Kanika Goyal suit stole the show at GQ’s gala. Her grey plaid suit, featuring palazzo pants was teamed with a sky blue shirt, navy blue tie and a pocket square, all from Gucci. Minimal studs, subdued glam and beach wave curls added an edge to her feisty formal look.

JANHVI KAPOOR

Doing what she does best, Janhvi exuded glamour on the red carpet of GQ’s event. Making us go green with envy, the diva had us picking up our dropped jaws off the floor in a Marcbouwer Couture gown. The figure grazing gown came with a set of sultry cut-out detailing at the hips and torso along with a bare back and cape detailing. Opting for a no-accessory look, she let her trailblazing gown steal the thunder.

RAKUL PREET

Flaunting another jaw-dropping look for the night at both events, Rakul slayed in a black Monot Pre-fall 22 gown that bore structured shoulders, a mesh-enhanced feisty neckline that was some inches shy from turning into a daring thigh slit. Keeping in mind her ultra-sexy outfit, the actress opted for minimal accessories and a subtle glam. A classic updo completed her overall look.

RAVEENA TANDON

Still giving the young guns a run for their money, Raveena appeared on the red carpet of Elle India in a mesmerizing look from Vaishali S. Her princess-like flowy white gown was accompanied by a dramatic corded cape that featured structured pleats that hugged her curves just in the right places. Subdued glam with smokey eyes and a chic updo added finishing touches to her look.

MASABA GUPTA

Fashion’s ‘wild child’ Masaba kept it bossy and sexy teaming her moon print structured blazer with a chic dhoti skirt, all from her eponymous label. Risque-ing things a bit more, the stunner decided to give her shirt a miss and flaunted a feisty neckline. A pair of dazzling danglers accessorized the fit while a minimal glam with a neat bun completed her look.

AHAN SHETTY

Ahaan looked every bit dapper in a classic sando tee plus suit pairing. A perfect blend of comfort meets style on the red carpet!

KARAN TACKER

Karan turned heads at the gala by pairing his off-white crop blazer with classic black trousers from SDS by Kushal Shah. Brownie points for the mesh shirt.

BHUMI PEDNEKAR

A climate warrior in the truest sense, Bhumi ROCKED a custom mesh saree from Bloni Atelier which was crafted from recycled metal and can be melted and regenerated further. Adding to the bling affair of her shimmery look were her delicate drop earrings. A radiant glam with a centre-parted classic bun did justice to her beauty.

So, which look was your favourite from the night?
