After tying the knot in a royal wedding in Jaisalmer, newly wedded couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra hosted a grand wedding reception in Mumbai yesterday. The couple's reception at the St. Regis Hotel was just as extravagant as their wedding. Kiara and Sid opted to glam things up at their reception and stepped out on the red carpet looking drop-dead gorgeous!
In a custom Manish Malhotra creation, the newly-minted bride ditched the traditional dresses and opted for a chic monochrome look while the groom had all out hearts decked up in dazzling jacket. Let’s check out their look in details.
Kiara opted for the allure of a big train while donning a classic black and white monochromatic dress. She chose a mermaid-cut dress that glistened through layers of black velvet. Unlike other celebs, Advani has been sported preferring gems and diamonds over polki necklaces, which really is sporting the royal look.
She went all out with a magnificent necklace by Manish Malhotra that was strung over her neck and had rows of tear-drop shaped gem separated by diamonds and also added a ring to her look. Dialing down the drama on the glam front, she went for a neat and sleek bun with subtle glam with heavy mascara, nude eyeshadow, liner, nude lips and dewy skin. She truly is a perfect example for modern bride as she did set a contemporary-cool tone with her western and elegant look.
On the other hand, the Shershaah actor donned a high-neck shirt, creating a sensuous sight. Sidharth went with a pocketed blazer, a favourite on the red carpet. It was fashionable, sparkly, and black. Along with velvet straight-fit pants and a pair of mojaris, he sported these toppers.
