Desi x Couture! Decoding Rahul Vaidya's and Disha Parmar's ethereal wedding nuptials sartorial picks

Singer and Bigg Boss 14 runner-up, Rahul Vaidya and his wife, television actress and Wo Apna Sa starlet, Disha Parmar looked straight out of a fairytale as they locked in each other for life on July 16, 2021. Mr. and Mrs. Vaidya never looked any lesser than a living Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla mood board!

Let's check out how the stylish couple served couture combo goals before, during, and after their D-day.

All smiles and hennas

Kickstarting the Wednesday wedding shenanigans with a Mehendi ceremony on July 14, Disha personified the classic Mean Girls quote "On Wednesdays, we wear pink" to the tee. Now beaming in color-coordinated outfits is a hallmark right of every happy couple. So on one end, we had the bride-to-be in a bright pink kurta and a light green sharara. Her stunning attire being paired with dazzling jewellery and an equally dazzling smile. On the other end, the groom-to-be Rahul arrived soon to snatch his henna-fied Dulhaniya in a matching light green kurta-pyjama set.

Wed in red #TheDisHulWedding

Internet was ready to be broken on July 16 as the adorable #DisHul was all set to tie the knot. Disha's wedding outfit was a dreamy shade of traditional red much complemented by Rahul's rich ivory sherwani. Her ravishing red ghagra and the blouse featuring intricate zari embroidery belonged to the designer duo's 'Dancing Peacock' range. The pink dupatta dripped in an enchanting abla embroidery all over. Disha wore traditional gold jewellery with subtle makeup and a round bindi which was a nod to perfection. Coming to the groom, Rahul looked like an absolute dreamboat himself in an off-white resham and gold zardozi sherwani paired with an inner kurta churidar. To round off the look, he sported a regal gold safa kamarband gath joda with gota details and custom-made embroidered juttis. A vision for the shutterbugs indeed!

Celebrating unison with a grand reception

At this point, #DisHul's sartorial picks were circulating like wildfire but the fun had just begun. After legally being bound to hang out for life, Disha depicted her bridal happiness by being wrapped in sparkles. Disha seemed to light up the room in a shimmery saree from Dolly J Studio. While she was busy being the epitome of grace, her debonair suited up to cherish her as well. Rahul Vaidya styled himself in a vogue monochrome combo of a patterned white coat paired with a black shirt and pants. The fashionable couple looked as breath-taking as ever they celebrated their forever.

Post-wedding brunch diaries

The newlyweds hosted an intimate post-wedding lunch for their near and dear ones. Flaunting their wedding glow, the radiant duo again served us some more easy-breezy Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Wifey Disha donned a yellow-coloured bakhiya boxy kurta with memoni from their 'Asal' collection. Her hair delicately sat on her right shoulder in a princess-ey braid. Pairing her first post-wedding OOTD with an emerald green diamond and polki set, the actress looked elegant in bright makeup and a tiny black bindi. Whereas brand new hubby Rahul kept it simple yet stylish in an off-white kurta with gota detailing and a churidar from 'Mard' collection.

Forecast: A power-packed Sangeet night

Bold. Glamourous. With a dash of ethereal glitter. Disha shone in sequin magic as she opted for a dark blue Seema Gujral lehenga. She completed the indo-contemporary look with an exquisite marquise diamond necklace by Anmol and traditional bridal chuda. Her make-up was kept quite minimal while her hair was tied in an Ariana Grande approved high ponytail. (Yuh! A quick shoutout to her MUA and hairstylist Shradha Luthra). Rahul on the other hand appeared suave enough to match his gorgeous wife. He was seen in a classic graphic black suit from the ‘Mard’ collection by their main designer duo again.

Now that we are all set on our wedding fashion inspo, let's find our soulmate faster, shall we?
