Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2020: Anamika Khanna and Manish Malhotra to Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla; here’s quick ‘runway recap’ before the marvellous grand finale!

Providing a platform for designers to showcase their talents and crafts from more than a decade, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour is back with its 15th edition. As we all expected this season is bigger and bolder than the last year.  Modish craft, ethnic extravaganza and the best of Bollywood, this fashion gala witnessed all of it and so much more!

Before we gear up for the grand finale, let’s take a look as to what went down on the runway of this sartorial soiree.

ANAMIKA KHANNA- KOLKATA

Designer Anamika Khanna commenced this season’s fashion journey with her collection, ‘My Craft, My Pride’. Khanna’s signature aesthetics reflected highly on the rich Indian culture with satin and silk silhouettes, boho prints and embellishments. Siblings turned showstoppers Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor lit up the runway in ravishing ensembles. Arjun looked dapper in an intricately detailed sherwani while Janhvi was a vision to behold in a co-ord set teamed up with a cape jacket.

MANISH MALHOTRA- HYDERABAD

Manish Malhotra took his exquisite craft to Hyderabad and oh boy, we were mesmerized! Inspired from life in a kaleidoscopic form, the collection consists mainly of summer hues, intricate embroideries and mosaic embellishments, sequins, 3-D patterns and holographic accents. Voluminous sleeves, long trails and veils, and tiered flares added to the drama of the outfits. Perfect for the summer wedding wardrobe this collection saw the best of gowns, lehengas, sarees and skirt ponchos. Showstoppers Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kartik Aaryan spilled grace and grandeur on the runway dressed in ethereal lehenga and dapper sherwani.

ABU JANI- SANDEEP KHOSLA - DELHI

Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla presented their collection with an ode to the LGBTQIA community and the spirit of one love. The runway witnessed many pivotal moments like men in juttis, flared pants, sequined jackets and so much more. Showstopper Sara Ali Khan strut the runway in not one but two outfits. She opened the show in a burgundy structured sleeved lehenga, while closed the show in a rose pink embellished lehenga.

Now that’s quite an ethnic galore. Can’t wait to see what grand finale brings us…what about you?
