#PeepingMoon2017: Celebrity Fashion Roundup Of The Year (Part 1)

It’s been a year filled with all sorts of sartorial drama! From fashion high’s to very few fashion lows, 2017 has been nothing but an amazing year when it came to ‘Fashion’. From ballroom gowns to risqué numbers, our A-listers kept them coming, one breathtaking outfit after another. Here’s your chance to look back and drool at these looks, all over again.

As we’re almost a week away from 365 days of pure sartorial bliss, here’s a little throwback at the most fashion-forward celebrity moments of 2017.

Deepika Padukone

With a style guru like Shaleena Nathani backing her up, Deepika Padukone had one stellar year, on and off screen. The girl has been slaying it in style, all through the year. While we were still recovering from her Padmavati promotions lookbook hangover, Deepika came and bowled us over at the Lux Awards in her red haute dress from Gauri and Nainika. The deep-neck back, the bow, this outfit was completely on-point. The perfect dramatic ending for 2017.

One cannot talk about Deepika's on-point sartorial moments this year, without giving a huge shout-out to this Marchesa gown, which Ranveer's girlfriend was seen donning at this year's Cannes Festival

Sonam Kapoor

One cannot talk about breathtaking fashion moments without giving Sonam Kapoor a huge shout-out.The style savant took our breath away on numerous occasions, but what really stole the show was Sonam walking the ramp for Ralph and Russo. The actress looked like an ice princess as she sashayed fiercely down the ramp. From the never-ending trail to the statement diamond choker, Sonam looked like a million bucks.

This style savant is once again on this list for soaking up some sun in Cannes. The actress was seen striking a pose in a mustard-yellow wide-legged pants Anamika Khanna number. Doesn’t this picture give you all sorts of vacay feels?

Kareena Kapoor

If you thought only Taimur Ali was hogging all the spotlight in 2017, scratch that thought cause mommy Kareena is equally in the race. Kareena Kapoor has been literally on a successful sartorial roll! The actress has given us one envy-inducing outfit after another, all through the year.

Remember when Bebo was clad in a Prabal Gurung cleavage-baring outfit at Soha Ali Khan’s book launch. The new mommy is looking hotter than ever. It's no secret that Kareena has been rigorously hitting the gym and the results are showing! But the highlight of the year was Bebo’s Tarun Tahiliani desi attire donned by Mrs. Khan this Diwali. The actress in our minds looked like true royalty.

Priyanka Chopra

We have said it before, and we’ll say it again; Priyanka Chopra can dethrone just about anyone when it comes to strutting fiercely down the red-carpet. The actress looked like a vision in a Zuhair Murad gown at the Oscars.
Priyanka, who has made her mark worldwide, has been setting the red carpet on fiyah, one glamorous outfit after another. Leave to Piggy Chops who makes walking on the red-carpet look like a walk in the park.

If the Oscar Zuhair Murad gown didn’t wow you enough, this stunning Ralph Lauren trench coat gown definitely left tongues wagging. Not only did this dress have a zillion of its own memes, but this trench coat dress put Priyanka Chopra on the best-dressed list, globally! We’re loving Priyanka’s constant upward fashion game. Woot! Woot!

Alia Bhatt

Not only has Ali Bhatt been giving us one blockbuster movie after another, but has also been constantly lighting up the red-carpet with her on-point style. Although this actress has given us back to back red-carpet hits, her Zuhair Murad gown is something which we couldn’t stop thinking about. This look styled by Ami Patel will surely gown down in Alia’s best looks for 2017.

Alia Bhatt took our breath away in this desi ensemble during this year's A-lister Diwali bash. Clad in a Manish Malhotra lime green traditional attire, Alia stole the spotlight from her celebrity friends.

Aishwarya Rai

This list cannot be complete with Ex Miss World Aishwarya Rai on it. Mrs. Bachchan looked like a real-life Barbie doll on the Cannes red-carpet. Styled by Aastha Sharma, Aishwarya broke the internet clad in Cinco powder blue fairy-talesque gown. The only question in all our mind is how did Abhishek’s wifey manage to sit in that over-the-top ball gown.

Manushi Chillar

Manushi Chillar won the title of Miss World in a sparkly Falguni Shane Peacock number.
Miss Chillar bagged this prestigious title in a salmon pink body-hugging crystal gown, making her the talk of the town. Manushi, who brought back the crown after 17 long years, sparkled in this sweetheart neckline figure-hugging ensemble, while making the people of India proud.

Katrina Kaif

It was a year filled with statement and sparkly ball gowns. And, we couldn’t be happier. Bollywood’s leading lady Katrina Kaif was seen donning a Ziad Nakad powder blue, sparkly gown at this year’s IIFA. Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Katrina’s red-carpet choice this year has been forever on-point and anything but predictable. This dress clearly brought Kat’s whimsical dreams to reality! *drool*

You rarely see Katrina step out on the red-carpet in such bold and daring outfits, as this one. So when Miss Kaif steps out in this high-slit one-shoulder  Jean Paul Gaultier risque number, we were happily surprised. Oh, how we wish, we could see Katrina in more such ensembles.

Sonakshi Sinha and Kangana Ranaut

Last but not the least, a huge shout-out to Sonakshi Sinha and Kangana Ranaut.

Sonakshi Sinha was seen channeling her inner Beyonce at IFFA 2017. Though this dress had divided opinions, Team PeepingMoon.com is all for this figure-hugging LaBourjoisie cleavage-baring, studded ensemble.

Kangana, on the other hand, has been slaying it in style not just on the big screen and red-carpets, but this diva has been even acing her airport game, like a pro! The actress looked like a true 'Queen' in Tony Ward couture at the Reebok Awards, this year.
