Bollywood hottie Shilpa Shetty will make Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9 extra special by going on the popular reality show and dancing to Garba tunes in a scintillating Navratri special. It's date has yet to be announced. Speculation is that it might be Friday, September 22, because the festival begins the previous night. Alternatively, it could also be aired on September 29.
In its ninth season, Sony TV's popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati has already successfully got viewers hooked. Ever since it returned to the small screen on August 28 after a four-year break, the game show has been entertaining and educating viewers with host Amitabh Bachchan sometimes witty, sometimes acerbic, but always master of the game.
For the Navratri special, the gorgeous Shilpa Shetty will take the hot seat as a contestant opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The Big B, in his suave and inimitable style, throws some tough questions at her which Shilpa deftly takes. The actress, already a crorepati several times over, sportingly plays along with him and together they make everybody's day.
Our sources say that the episode will see Shilpa also grooving to Garba and adding more festive sparkle to the show. It will be fun to see if Amitabh joins Shilpa in the Garba session.
And Priyanka Jagga may do the Dussehra special!
Meanwhile, there have been reports that Bigg Boss fame Priyanka Jagga has been roped in for a Dussehra special episode on KBC. Apparently, she will be playing the game as a special contestant with Amitabh Bachchan hosting the show. According to sources, Priyanka has stated, "I would like to share good news with everyone. I have been selected for KBC first round (Fastest Finger First). Watch me live with Big B. Need blessings and good wishes."
While there is no confirmation of the same, if true, it definitely will be a cringe-worthy moment to see Ms Jagga and the classy Big B both in the same frame.When contacted, Sony TV immediately refuted the report and called it baseless. "No, this is not and can't be true ever," said a source close to the channel.
It did appear as if the lady, who hasn't been in the limelight for long, is searching for way to grab attention. Priyanka was in news for all the wrong reasons almost during the entire Bigg Boss Season 10. Her pairing with Om Swami, the wannabe godman, and their father-daughter relationship disgusted many viewers who demanded her ouster from the show. And much to their relief, Priyanka was shown the door by none other than BB host Salman Khan for her unacceptable behaviour.
