Anushka Sharma, who is currently promoting her upcoming film Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, received the Smita Patil award for Best Actor at the 34th Priyadarshini Academy Global Award 2018 on Wednesday. The award was presented to her by Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari in presence of other dignitaries.
Anushka looked ethereal in an emerald green Chanderi Banebar saree. Must say, she stayed true to the purpose she is promoting with Sui Dhaaga! She completed her look by sporting minimal makeup and tied her hair into a sleek bun with a bindi.
Anushka thanked all the writers and directors for playing a key role in her success journey. "I also want to thank all the writers who wrote amazing roles for me and the directors who envisioned me in those roles. I don't think any actor's career is complete without the contribution of these two people," shared the actress.
