The International Indian Film and Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards will next month return to Bangkok after a decade for its 19th edition, which promises not just Bollywood’s glitz and glamour but support to environmental causes and cinema memorabilia too. The gala will be held June 22-24 at the Siam Niramit Theatre, which is adorned by Thailand’s heritage, art and culture and hosts the country’s most-popular theatre production.

At the IIFA press conference on Tuesday, June 12, in Mumbai, a number of celebrities arrived including Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bobby Deol and Rekha.

While the Bollywood men looked dapper in their semi-formal outfits, Kriti Sanon was serving her sartorial sass in a knee-length dress.

The evergreen beautiful Rekha was a vision to behold in a white saree.

During the press conference, Varun dropped a bomb for Rekha fans as he declared that the veteran actress will be returning to the IIFA stage after 20 years for a magical performance.
