Last night, the much-awaited music of superstar Rajinikanth's film 2.0 was launched at the Burj Park in Dubai, UAE. The event kickstarted with a live concert from the Oscar Award winner, AR Rahman, who has also composed the music for the film. 2.0 lead actress Amy Jackson shook her leg on dance numbers dedicated to Thalaivar aka Rajinikanth. Then stepped up Akshay Kumar making a spectacular entry onstage.

The interesting part is that the album has just three songs, written by Madhan Karky. The songs were somehow leaked on the internet a few days back, but this stopped fans from going crazy at the event. As per reports, out of the three tracks, Endhira Logathu showcases the romance between the two robots and is touted to be filmed on Rajinikanth and Amy while the second track Raajali Nee Gaali talks about the concept of good and evil.

Expressing his joy of working with Thalaivar, Akshay took the mic and said, "Rajini sir is the real superstar. I would like to thank Shankar sir for giving me the opportunity of working with a legend like Rajinikanth. I could’ve never imagined that I will get a chance to work in such a big and costly film like 2.0. I have done 130 films (in Bollywood). 2.0 was my 131st film. I can only say that during the making of those 130 films, I got to learn little from every film, but I was learning throughout the shooting of this film."

2.0 is a sequel to the 2011 superhit film Enthiran in which Akki will be essaying the antagonist in the film as an eccentric scientist called Dr. Richard, while Rajinikanth returns as scientist Vaseegaran.
