Bollywood’s evergreen (and, oh, so beautiful) dream girl, Hema Malini recently turned 69 and decided to celebrate her D-day by launching her biography – Beyond the Dream Girl. Now, who better to carry out this book launch than the ‘Present’-day dream girl – Deepika Padukone, herself!

While the veteran actress stole our hearts in a Neta Lulla number; Deepika, who is super busy gearing for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, looked nothing less than a timeless beauty in her ravishing Raw Mango saree and intricate Tanishq jewelry. Can the genie (Ahem, stylist Shaleena Nathani) behind this drop-dead beauty ever go wrong?

We wonder, if Deepika’s sartorial choices have anything to do with the festive cheery vibe or is she just trying to keep up with the ‘Rani  Padmavati’ avatar? Whatever the reason be, all we secretly wish to do is sit back, ogle at our screens and whistle.

Also, spotted at the event was a heavily pregnant Esha Deol, flaunting her baby bump along with Bharat Takhtani acting as the doting husband, that he is. Esha looked adorbs in a peach-hued suit, and matching her outfit was younger sister Ahana Deol.
