Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Sam Bahadur released earlier this month, featuring Vicky Kaushal in the role of the Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw alongside Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film has been welcomed with much love and the audience even went on to comment that Vicky deserves a national award for his performance.
Now, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar recently decided to screen the film for his colleagues including MP’s, defense officers and veterans. Following the same he took to his Twitter account to mention about it. The post read, “Today arranged a screening of #SamBahadur for my colleagues in govt, Parl, Defence Officers & Veterans A must-see movie of Indias greatest General and his inspiring life. “

Released on December 1, the film is set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
