Kareena Kapoor Khan has always managed to mesmerize the audience with her performance. Whether the films have managed to perform well at the box office or not, the versatility of the actress to fit in every assigned role is undeniable. Kareena has also made her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial Jaane Jaan earlier this year.

In a recent interview, the actress went on to talk about industry’s obsession with the looks of the actor as she recalled a scene during filming of which the camera was constantly revolving around her in a close-up. She further went on to highlight that for her being ‘an actor’ was always the first priority.

Kareena said, “I want to be an actor first. This has been the case right from my first movie. I am confident about the way I look. I don’t care if my lines are showing because that is just the way I am. I am an actor. Can you look beyond that? That’s always been a challenge for me. I wanted them to look beyond that.” 

On the work front, Kareena would be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Singham Again.
