Jim Sarbh and Shefali Shah were nominated for the International Emmy Awards 2023 earlier this year. Jim was in the race with Martin Freeman for Best Performance. He was nominated for his role in  Rocket Boys where he portrayed nuclear physicist Homi J Bhabha whereas Martin was in the list for his performance in The Responder. Although Jim received a lot of appreciation for his role, Martin emerged as the winner in the category.

On the other side, Shefali Shah was nominated for her role in Delhi Crime Season 2 but lost to the Mexican actress Karla Souza who was in the same nomination for her role in the series La Caida.

The 51st international Emmy Awards took place on November 20, 2023 in New York.
