The trailer launch of the much awaited film Sam Bahadur took place at the Manekshaw centre in New Delhi on November 7, 2023 and was launched by the Chief of Army staff, General Manoj Pande. Present at occasion were lead actors of the heroic biopic, Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, producer Ronnie Screwvala  and the film director Meghna Gulzar. 

The cast was joined by the family members of Sam Manekshaw - his daughter Maja Daruwala, her husband Dhun Daruwala, and COAS’s wife Mrs. Archana Pande, President AWWA.

Sam Bahadur  will release on December 1, 2023 and is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
