The Tiger Shroff Effect! Box Office Triumphs Beyond Ganapath

The fact that in the world of Bollywood, the film’s performance is considered by its box office collection is unavoidable. And although Tiger Shroff’s recent starrer Ganapath that also featured Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan may have not achieved the desired results with its collection. A closer examination of Tiger’s acting career reveals a narrative of lasting popularity and mass appeal that goes beyond the success of any one particular film.

Starting with the debut film Heropanti (2014), which earned an impressive Rs 6.8 crores at the box office, and further films such as Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and the action-packed War (2019) demonstrated his career's upward trajectory by surpassing earlier opening figures and demonstrating his persistent ability to pull crowds into theaters.

The numbers speak volumes: Baaghi 2 more than doubled Baaghi's collection, standing at a striking Rs 25 crores. Whereas War  in which he shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan, stormed the box office with a staggering Rs 53 crores, marking a new high in his career. Even during the challenging times of the covid pandemic, Baaghi 3 managed to secure an impressive Rs 17 crores in its initial run.

Despite the recent lukewarm response to Ganapath garnering just Rs 4 crores in opening, a notable industry source said Tiger has remarkable consistency and his openings are unparalleled for the actors of his generation. These figures underscore his position as a bonafide box office draw and the poster boy for the masses. His blend of high-octane action, coupled with his dedication to pushing boundaries in dance and stunts, has carved a unique niche for him in the industry.

In upcoming time, Tiger is set to captivate audiences with his new ventures, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan where he will star alongside Akshay Kumar, Hero No1 which is directed by Jagan Shakti, Rambo produced by Siddarth Anand  and also the actor  recently wrapped up some spectacular action sequence in Hyderabad for Rohit Shetty’s  Singham Again.
