Pippa trailer out: Ishaan Khatter as captain Balram Singh Mehta gears up for one of the biggest wars in India’s history

The trailer of the much-awaited film Pippa is finally out and is getting all the appreciation. Starring Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur in the lead, the film follows the story of one of the deadliest wars ever in India’s history, the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.

The trailer gives the glimpses of the wartime saga and delves into the journey of a number of soldiers that selflessly fought back in the year. It focuses upon the battle of Garibpur, during the 1971’s war and features Ishaan in the role of Captain Balram Singh Mehta.

The film is named after the tank PT-76 (Palavushi Tanka) popularly known as the Pippa, that floats on the water as seen in the trailer. 

Directed by Raja Menon, the film was previously supposed to have a theatrical release but is now set to release on an OTT platform, Amazon Prime Videos on November 10, this year.
