Sunny Deol recently made a grand comeback with Gadar 2 which has turned out to be a massive success and became the second highest grosser film in Hindi till date. 

Off late, rumours are rife he is to portray the role of Lord Hanuman in upcoming Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial Ramayana which will feature Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the roles of Ram and Sita.

Now, new reports suggest that the actor has demanded a whooping amount of Rs 45 crores for the role and is all set to go for the major transformation for his role! 

As quoted by the sources in one of the entertainment websites, it mentioned, "Playing Lord Hanuman on screen is a big responsibility and Sunny has decided to not take up any project in the middle of the Ramayana shoot. He wants to give complete focus to the part and will also undergo a change in body type to play Lord Hanuman. He is negotiating a Rs. 45 crore deal with Nitesh Tiwari and Madhu Mantena for Ramayana. Sunny playing Hanuman will be like a thank you from Sunny Deol to Lord Hanuman for giving him all the success in life." 

Sunny would be next seen in the upcoming film Lahore 1947 which would be directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan.
