Karan Johar recently celebrated 25 years of his film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji and is truly one of the gems of Bollywood. Following the same, in a recent interview, the filmmaker went to talk about the actor and one of his biggest supporters and friends Shah Rukh and shared some less known insides about his film preference. 

Karan said that the King Khan aka Shah Rukh who is known as the ‘King of Romance’ was actually never interested in romantic narratives and didn’t like love stories. In fact, the filmmaker said that after he offered the actor the role of Rahul in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it didn’t excite him much as he was interested in doing action films. 
But the dislike gradually faded and became the genre for which the actor is majorly known for. 

Karan and Shah Rukh worked in multiple films together including KKHH(1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham(2001) and My name is Khan(2010) to name a few.
