Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan is all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on January 3, 2024. Ahead of the big day, Ira in a recent interview went on to share about her special bond with Nupur and how he helped her battling depression. 

Ira said, “He held space for me and I think he had the emotional bandwidth. He complains that I call him a sorted person. I don't know how he figured out what to do. He just waited and he just took his time and was patient with me. There have been times when I was behaving like a really unwell 3-year-old or 6-year-old. He had to literally take care of me.”

Further adding about the online negativity she said, “The privilege, it's obvious, it's there. I know it's there. I fully understand why people get irritated with me and put angry comments on my Instagram. I don't read, but I've been told there are lots of mean things in my Instagram comments.”

Ira and Nupur got engaged in the month of November of 2022.
