Kiara Advani has now turned to be a common name in the film industry. Having worked in a number of successful films and alongside renowned actors. The actress is best known for her infamous role of Preeti Sikka in Kabir Singh where she starred opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Talking about the same in a recent interview, the actress went on to mention that there are all sorts of people and defended her role by saying that everyone cannot be canceled.

Kiara said, “We need to accept that there are all sorts of people. We can’t cancel everyone.”

She further added that she only works in the film if she likes the character otherwise she doesn’t take up the project.

In Kabir Singh which released back in 2019, she played a love interest of Kabir (Shahid) who displayed toxic masculinity and possessiveness over her. Although she faced the backlash for it, film turned to be a super-hit and even emerged as the third highest grosser Bollywood film in 2019.

For the unversed, Kabir Singh is a remake of Arjun Reddy that had its release in 2017.
