Allu Arjun took home the National Award for Best Actor for his film Pushpa: The Rise. He attended the award ceremony today in New Delhi along with his wife Sneha.
Upon receiving the award, he said, "I am extremely happy that I am receiving this award like we're receiving for commercial film is a double achievement for me."

It is to be noted that Allu Arjun in the first Telugu actor be conferred with this honour. His film Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release on August 15, 2024.
