Shahid Kapoor is a name that one just can’t avoid mentioning when it comes to the A-listers of the film industry. Having impressed with his versatile acting over the years, whether it’s a role of shy and intelligent Aditya from Jab We Met or aggressive Kabir in Kabir Singh. Shahid always manages to impress with his performances.

In a recent interview, the actor finally mentioned about the upcoming sequel of his super successful series Farzi that released back in February. Shahid said, So of course, the second season of Farzi will happen. I mean, the response was amazing. Also, the way the story ended, it was open-ended so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen. It was not like a culmination. So Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen.”

He was further asked about the possibilities of doing a biopic of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, to which he replied, that he believes someone younger should portray the role of the cricketers as the biopic will show the struggles of the earlier years of the players. He also admitted that he is a big fan of Virat Kohli.

Shahid would be bext seen in a yet untitled film opposite Kriti Sanon which is all set to release on February 9, 2024 and is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
