Gayatri Joshi, best known for her role in Swades (2004) where she portrayed the role of Gita opposite Shah Rukh Khan, recently met with a car accident along with her husband, Vikas Oberoi in Italy. The multi-car crash ended the life of an elderly Swiss couple.
Gayatri, who has remained unarmed from the accident, informed a media outlet that both are ‘absolutely fine’. She said, “Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here.. With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine.”
Although, reportedly a senior Swiss couple has died in this car collision. As per the CCTV footage, the collision took place when a Lamborghini car and the couple's car tried to overtake a camper van at the same time. After the news of the accident, one of the videos surfaced online and is believed to be of the same accident.

Gayatri and Vivek tied the knot back in 2005, and the actress' has since stayed away from the films.
