Kumar Sanu is undoubtedly one of the most versatile playback singers of the industry. He ruled the 90s' era with his romantic numbers and became the voice of many leading men in that era. His only competition was touted to be Udit Narayan, who was equally successful as Sanu, and together the two ruled the music industry for decades. 

Now in a recent interview, Kumar Sanu shared over his alleged rivalry with Udit. He said, “Udit ke saath bhi bahut kam kam dosti hai kyunki uske saath thoda sa...aisa hota rehta tha uss samay. Wo zyada karke karta tha, main nahi. Lekin accha hai, baat karne me maza aata tha.”

Ironically, both the singers have worked together multiple times for the iconic songs like Dosti Karte Nahin, Neend Churayee Meri and others.

Kumar Sanu further added that he shared a good friendship bond with the singer Alka Yagnik as they have worked together for multiple projects.
