I should not try to be my dad or my Dada or Chachas: Rajveer Deol on having his own identity as an actor

Sunny Deol’s younger son Rajveer Deol is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the Rajshri film Dono which will also feature debutant Paloma Dhillon who is the daughter of Poonam Dhillon. Directed by Avnish Barjatya, the film is set to release on October 5 this year.

In a recent interview, Rajveer was asked about one thing that he has learnt from his family, to which the debutante replied leaving work at the door and not mixing it up once he enters back home.

Rajveer said, “The one thing I have picked up on is that it is the best thing to leave your work at the door. When you are home, carrying work home, it results in a longer day than it should be.” He added, “The one thing that relaxed me was that I should not try to be my dad or my Dada or Chachas. Having an individual stamp on this industry takes its time, but I shouldn’t be pressured by all the greats that have come from my family.”

In one of the previous interviews, he also shared that in the beginning his dad, Sunny who is currently basking in the success of Gadar 2 didn’t want him to become an actor, but is now happy for him doing the film.
