Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 actor Aarush Verma starts a petition for removal of film's 'A' certificate

 

 
OMG2 has been receiving massive support from the audience since its release. The film has already crossed Rs 43.11 crores at the domestic box office and continues to perform. Audiences are impressed by the concept of the film and have called it a ‘bold and brave experiment' and 'educative'. Amidst this, actor Aarush Verma, who plays the role of Pankaj Tripathi’s son in the film, has started an online petition! His petition is an appeal to revoke the 'A' certificate given to OMG 2 by CBFC. 

While in India, the film, which should be reaching the young, school-going kids, as per it's subject, in UAE & Oman OMG2 has received 12+ age group approval stating that it promotes the awareness and the need for sex education among adolescents. 

Aarush made a petition for the removal of ‘A’ certificate and hence seeking permission it to be viewed by adolescents. The young actor mentioned that it is important for teenagers to be aware of such topics and that film educates and how during the shooting of the film none of the children felt uncomfortable regarding the topics and scenes.

OMG2 starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj and Yami Gautam follows the story of Kanti Sharan (Pankaj) is a devotee of lord Shiva whose son (Aarush) gets rusticated from the school amidst his mastrubation video gets leaked. What follows is his father's courtroom battle to seek him justice.
