Ranveer Singh was last seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' in which he portrayed the role of Karol Bagh's Rocky Randhawa and the audience loved it! Known for his versatile performances and unmatchable energy, if rumours are to be believed, Ranveer is all set to take on the role of Don in Don 3! If that happens, he will be the third generation star to take on the role after Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Just like Shah Rukh once took over the baton from Amitabh Bachchan in 2006, followed by a sequel in 2011, it looks like the next era belongs to Ranveer. Earlier, it was reported that Shah Rukh will reprise the character, but as he is busy with other projects, he has decided to exit the film.
The director of the film, Farhan Akhtar today dropped the teaser on his Instagram account and people can’t wait for further details about the franchise, and that who will be the next face of this stylish, slick actioner!
Don 3 will also mark Farhan Akhtar's return to direction after nearly a decade and is expected to release in 2025.
