The much anticipated Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer film Gadar 2 is just a few days away from hitting the theatres. Just a few days before its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently granted the film a UA certificate, signaling a family-friendly experience that can be enjoyed by audiences of all age groups.

In recent times, the Central Board of Film Certification has become quite rigorous and critical about films. In fact, after suffering major backlash over passing the controversial dialogues in Prabhas-led Adipurush, the CBFC has got a very keen eye. Even Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 was asked for several modifications and cuts.

Helmed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is set to release in cinemas on August 11, 2023. The film will clash with Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2' at the box office, which recently received 'A' certificate from the CBFC board. Both the films are going to battle at the ticket window with their film's respective sequels.
